Oman has adopted an "open borders policy" for tourists. Dutch nationals are able to buy a visit visa upon arrival at Muscat International Airport for OMR 6,- per person. Such a visit visa is valid for four weeks, and may be extended locally with another four weeks.

Note: the passport has to be valid for at least six months after the planned departure from Oman
